www.CuckoldsLight.org. This is a non profit that owns a lighthouse on the Maine coast. They are raising funds in many creative ways to restore the lighthouse to reflect its great history and connection to the maritime safety of the harbors it still guides marine activity towards and the rocks and shoals it warns of year after year.
The founders of CuckoldsLight.org have already enlisted 23 Inns and B & B’s to participate in one of their funding programs: Each Inn “member” asks guests to contribute $1.00 to Cuckolds Lighthouse when they check into or out of participating Inns or B & B’s. Starbuck Inn will be matching every dollar with a dollar.
